FFL Transfer

Please carefully read and complete the form below.

A $50 processing fee is charged for the transfer of each firearm, frame, receiver or lower. A $125 transfer fee is charged for the transfer of each NFA item. If a business is shipping the firearm they must include a copy of their valid Federal Firearm License in the package of the item(s). If an individual is shipping the firearm they must include a copy of their legal state ID. Any item shipped to Lafayette Shooters without this information will be sent back to shipper by way of COD.

NOTICE: The person listed on the order must be the person picking up the firearm, NO EXCEPTIONS. If the individual receiving this transfer does not pass a NICS background check, you are still responsible for all fees and costs involved in shipping the firearm back to the original owner. It is up to the individual to understand state and local laws pertaining to firearm ownership.

*When purchasing from a dealer have them email shipping@lafayetteshooters.com for a copy of our FFL if requested.

Abandoned Firearm Policy
All firearm transfers not completed within 30 days will be charged a $50 per month storage fee plus the $30 transfer processing fee. If return shipping is needed that will be the responsibility of the purchasing party.

After 120 days from receipt, the firearm will be considered abandoned. No exceptions made except for military deployment or with prior consent.

Buying a gun for someone who is prohibited by law from possessing one or for someone who does not want his or her name associated with the transaction is a “straw purchase.“
An illegal firearm purchase (straw purchase) is a federal crime.
