Beretta takes its proven APX platform to the next level with the APX A1! Building upon the design of the original APX the APX A1 is equipped with a wide assortment of enhancements. The ergonomics have been greatly improved with 360-degree extended textures in the areas where your hands exert the most pressure for a consistent grip every time. Other improvements include a higher undercut trigger guard an enhanced beavertail and three interchangeable back straps. Together these features maximize surface contact and provide a higher-tang grip resulting in better management of recoil and a more natural shooting position. The APX A1’s slide has also been upgraded. Aggressive cocking serrations allows you to easily rack the slide and perform a press check in the worst condition and an Aquatech Shield coating offers excellent protection from chemicals corrosion and water damage. One of the slide’s more notable features is its optics cut allowing a wide array of red dots to be installed for faster target acquisition and engagement. In addition the APX A1 is outfitted with a new trigger which provides a lighter pull a clean break and a short reset.
